My stay at Hotel Roma Aurelia Antica had its ups and downs. The location was kind of far from the city center, which made it tough to get around, but the shuttle service to the Vatican was a nice touch. The breakfast was good, but I noticed some cleanliness issues in the dining area. While the staff were mostly friendly, there were some hiccups with my booking and room cleanliness that dampened my overall impression.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a cozy place to rest after long days. However, the outdated aspects made it feel like it needed a little TLC.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly, especially Antonella at the bar, who was super helpful. However, the reception could've been more organized and attentive when my booking got mixed up.
Location
5.0
The hotel is quite a trek from the city center. It took me 20-30 minutes just to reach central Rome, plus extra time with traffic. It’s definitely not ideal for sightseeing.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast had a decent variety but some of the food seemed reused and not as fresh as I would've liked. Plus, seeing guests dig into the food without etiquette was a bit off-putting.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included a nice pool, but I was surprised they charged a fee for it. Overall, I appreciated the free parking, which was a bonus for anyone traveling by car.

My stay at Hotel Roma Aurelia Antica was a mixed bag. While I appreciated the spacious rooms and high-quality breakfast buffet, the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. The distance from the city center and issues related to maintenance were significant downsides during my visit. 🚫🏨

Rooms

The room was spacious, but many aspects were disappointing. I encountered issues with the ventilation system, making the temperature unbearable at times. The maintenance didn’t address the problems effectively, and I noted several cracks and mold in the bathroom.
Service
5.0
The staff were generally friendly and accommodating. Jacopo, the porter, was particularly helpful. However, there were moments when communication with the front desk and restaurant staff could have been much better, especially regarding service during meals.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location is quite distant from the city center, which is not ideal for sightseeing. The shuttle service to the Vatican was convenient but did not take me to central locations. This affected my ability to explore Rome efficiently.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a highlight with a nice variety, but I found some dishes lacking, especially in the restaurant. The menu was limited and never changed during my stay, leading me to dine elsewhere at times.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had some appealing features like free parking and spacious outdoor areas for relaxation, but the overall maintenance issues detracted from the experience. The pool was an additional cost, which I found odd for the hotel’s rating.

My stay at Hotel Roma Aurelia Antica was quite a mixed bag. I appreciated the spacious rooms and the helpful breakfast staff, but I was seriously let down by the location and the inconsistent service. While I enjoyed the breakfast offerings, the dining experience for dinner left much to be desired, especially with limited vegetarian options and slow service.

My stay at Hotel Roma Aurelia Antica was quite disappointing, highlighted by some decent features, but mostly overshadowed by numerous issues. Overall, I can't recommend this hotel without serious reservations.

While the hotel was peacefully located away from the city's noise, it felt quite remote — not ideal for sightseeing as it was far from restaurants and shops.
